Why I Believe What I Believe

There was an interesting little book put out some years ago, written by Paul E Little, entitled "Know Why You Believe". My copy is from the 28th printing (in 1988), and the work was first written in 1970. Publisher is Victor Books, PO Box 1825, Wheaton, Illiunois 60189. ISBN: 0-89693-080-7.

I have found this little book extremely useful in the concise way in which it explains much basic Christian doctrine - the doctrines or teachings of the early New Testament church - simply. It explains so much that has confused so many for so long.

Know Why You Believe

Know Why You Believe is a thinking person's book by a man regarded by many as one of the best communicators of Christian truth of our day. Until his death in 1975, Paul Little travelled far and wide to speak on college campuses and at conferences. He was on the staff of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship and was associate Professor of Evangelism at Trinty Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Illinois. He has also written other books.

This bestselling "classic" will help you carefully examine the claims of your Christian faith - and help you be more sure of yourself as you sharev your faith with others.

A testimonial reads... "I purchased 'Know Why You Believe' and that evening became convinced in 30-40 minutes of reading that there was a man named Jesus. He died on the cross and was resurrected by God... After wandering for 40 years in the wilderness of my life, I wondered why someone hadn't told me all these things before... I set my will aside and accepted Christ into my heart at an Easter sunrise service ."
